DAVIS DRIVE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

  In 2000, Ko & Associates was selected by the North Carolina Department of Transportation to prepare an environmental document and final construction plans for the widening of Davis Drive from the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway.
The project is 5.6 miles in length. The Davis Drive corridor traverses through the Research Triangle Park. The existing utilities in this high tech area required extensive coordination efforts to ensure that the project could be constructed with minimum conflicts and/or relocations of the existing utilities.
The project area is experiencing tremendous growth and commercial development.
